The Organizing Committee of the Netherlands LANDdialogue is looking for extra support in managing the ongoing dialogue among Dutch stakeholders to contribute to improved land governance.
The LANDdialogue – the Dutch Land Governance Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue (LG MSD) – is a multi-stakeholder initiative of organizations in the Netherlands who have expressed their willingness and ambition to contribute to the improvement of land governance in countries where Dutch players are active, particularly in relation to activities of the private sector and the practical application of the VGGTs, through research and knowledge exchange. The LANDdialogue is facilitated by an Organizing Committee which comprises representatives from Dutch government, NGOs, knowledge institutes and the private sector. The Secretariat of the LANDdialogue is based at LANDac, Utrecht University.
Activities will include, among others: coordinating the Organizing Committee and LANDdialogue stakeholders through organizing meetings and sharing information; organizing multistakeholder workshops, consultation sessions, and/or expert meetings on specific land governance issues; coordinating and guiding studies and research related to land governance; organizing the next High-Level meeting with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.
This position will be based at the secretariat of the LANDdialogue for 2-3 days a week, starting immediately until at least June 2018.
